This Wolf Moon will appear 12.2% smaller than the largest full moon of the year that will occur on Aug. 10, Space.com reports. This “mini moon” will occur approximately 3 hours after the moon reaches its greatest distance from Earth, apogee.
Don’t let the smaller size of this Wolf Moon fool you into thinking she is any less powerful that the largest full moon.
