3 Steps to do when your energy is getting out of hand and you want to reel it in.
Do you feel overwhelmed, frustrated or anxious? Feel like you just can’t get yourself grounded?
The little things in life can upset the apple cart when we already feel taxed out from the chaos of life. Coping with this can be a challenge, add these to your “life tool box” and draw on them when needed. Whether you’re in the car, work, or church, you can do this anywhere no matter how busy it is around you.
One
Center yourself.
Close your eyes, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale and exhale. 3 good deep breathes are needed, focus only on how you’re breathing, nothing else only your breathe. Continue with breathing if needed until you are only focused on your breathe, inhale and exhale.
Two
Ground yourself.
Now shift your focus, while still taking deep long breathes, to the top of your head. Imagine a bright white light coming down from the sky into the top of your head. Continue to visualize this light going through your body; from your head down your neck, through your torso, down your spine, down each leg and exiting through the soles of your feet down into the earth.
Three
Enjoy the Bubble.
While you are breathing and the light is washing over your body bringing you to a calm and centered place within yourself, enjoy the tranquility for as much or a little as need. This is your space now, your bubble, soak up the moment. When you have reclaimed your center and are feeling grounded, return your focus back to your breathe…inhale, exhale…open your eyes.
This skill is available for you anytime, anywhere and with regular use, will become a breeze whenever you are feeling like a tune up is in order.
Good forth and be the beautiful souls that you are!
